Here is some footage I shot at the Sioux Empire Fair last weekend.  Working at the Voices for Choice booth, sponsored by a huge number of organizations like Planned Parenthood, Pastors for Moral Choices, etc was an amazing experience.  Sure, I met a few pretty fanatical anti-choicers but in general South Dakotans were receptive to our message and were willing to reasonably and logically go through the arguments on both sides.

Honestly, I have to say I’m going to miss volunteering with PPSD.  This is wonderful, stimulating work.  I’m looking forward to my trip back to DC and getting back into my real life but this summer has inspired me to keep working on reproductive rights issues… maybe H*yas for Choice is next?
