Moleskine’s new website is up (thanks to NotCot for posting the link) and there is a lot of good stuff up there. It is still in beta, and running a bit slow on my Mac. Anyway, this is the first semester that I’ve used their notebooks for classes and my planner and, quite frankly, its worked really well. They’re pricey, and sometimes I’m kind of embarassed by how absurdly bourgie they are (for lack of a better word), but oh heavens are they satisfying.
I’m looking forward to their new planners and diaries for 2010. Perhaps that will stave off the creature of habit craving something new thing in November. Also, I’m so intrigued by the MSK stuff although, I have to be honest, isn’t it just cut-and-paste? Helpful, I guess, for people like me who can’t estimate but isn’t half the fun writing in your notebook? Crossing things out? Drawing arrows and flagging things?
We’re feeling better here, sort of. Fever finally broke around 9 am this morning but I’m still not back in full form. There will be photos from the Eastern Shore soon though… for now, the best I can do is links and reposts.
