This week I’m going to send you over to the Dial-a-Poem project. This began in the late 1960s when telephony was the hip new thing. You can read a lot about the original project at the New York Times and at the Poetry Foundation’s website/podcast.
So, today your job is to call the Kelly Writers’ House in Philadelphia at 215-746-POEM (7636), then press option 3 and you’ll hear a poem.
