We had the windows open for a while, but it's finally gotten proper hot here in DC so we've switched to drapes down and AC on. However, now that the plants are in our bedroom the AC and fan are on so they get a bit of a breeze. Really, your garden just kicks mine in the butt. I think that after I repot this time around, if it still doesn't happen I might give up 'til we have a balcony again.
