What I love most about this post is that it makes me feel so much better to know that I am not the only one that agonizes over calendars. Last year I ended up with no less than 6 - two daily desktop calendars and two monthly hanging calendars at work (multiple times a day I have to explain why so many), one in my closet and a planner in my purse. (This count exludes the 'family' calendar hanging on the fridge.)

I think it's an important decision - the right calendar can inspire you on a difficult day or cheer you on a sad one. (For a running calendar - think too about the RunnersWorld monthly version. The pictures of runners on hidden trails in beautiful places make me realize every day the true value of being able to go where only your feet can take you.)

I've got something in my purse to mail to you - keep a look out.

clearly you need to buy every calendar you like and then send them to friends, all except for the one you decide at the very last moment that you like the most.
